Prix biennal Barbara Cappochin 2009
La troisième édition de ce prix biennal a pour vocation de sensibiliser et d’associer les différents acteurs de la sphère architecturale : urbanistes, constructeurs et maîtres de l’ouvrage, à la promotion de la qualité de la planification et de la construction, en millieu naturel et urbain.
Le prix récompensera une réalisation édifiée entre le 1er juillet 2006 et le 30 juin 2009. Elle devra exprimer une vision du futur, issue d’une réflexion respectueuse sur le passé.
Organisé par la Fondation Barbara Cappochin, ce prix international a reçu le soutien de l’Union Internationale des Architectes (UIA) et du Conseil National italien des Architectes, Urbanistes, Paysagistes et Conservateurs (CNAPPC).
Types de soumissions
Le prix est ouvert aux architectes du monde entier ou aux équipes pluridisciplinaires conduites par des architectes qui souhaitent soumettre une réalisation achevée entrele 1er juillet 2004 et le 30 juin 2007. Les programmes peuvent porter sur différentes catégories d’édifices :
• Résidentiels publics ou privés
• Commerciaux, administratifs, ou complexes plurifonctionnels
• Equipements publics (éducatifs, culturels, cultuels, sportifs, de loisirs ou de santé)
• Aménagements paysagers
Prix
Plusieurs prix seront décernés :
• Un Grand prix international de 65 000 euros
• Un prix spécial de 6000 euros pour la qualité d’éléments et de détails constructifs
• Un prix de 6000 euros attribué à une réalisation située dans la province de Padoue
• La Médaille d’or Giancarlo Ius sera décernée à l’oeuvre la plus innovante sur le plan des énergies renouvelables et des économies d’énergie.

Barbara Cappochin biennal Prize 2009
The third edition of this biennial prize aims to heighten awareness and associate the different actors in the world of architecture: planners, builders and customers, in promoting the quality of planning and construction, in naturel and urban contexts.
The international prize will honour an architectural work, completed between the 1st July 2006 and 30th June 2009, that expresses a vision of the future as an expression of respect for the past.
Organised by the Barbara Cappochin Foundation, this international prize is approved by the International Union of Architects (UIA) and the National Councilof Italian Architects, Planners, Landscape architects and Conservationists (CNAPPC).
Characteristics of submissions
The prize is open to architects worldwide or multidisciplinary teams led by architects. Works can belong to any of the following categories:
• Public or private residences
• Commercial, administrative or mixed use buildings
• Public facilities (educational, cultural, sports, leisure or health care)
• Landscape architecture
Prizes
A number of prizes will be awarded:
• An international Grand Prix worth 65 000 euro
• A special prize of 6000 euros for quality detail in architectural and construction elements
• a prize of 6000 euros will be awarded to a realisation located in the province of Padua
• Giancarlo Ius Gold Medal will be awarded tot the most innovative work in the field of energy saving and renewable technologies.
