On Saturday, March 25, 2006 at the ASN congress (Association for the Study of Nationalities) at Columbia University in New York, the SRS will be able to organize up to three or four panels, as well as hold a meeting during the 1 and 3/4 hour lunch break. This will reprise the mini-conferences held a number of years ago in New York and Washington DC.
We also hope to hold a cultural event again at the Romanian Cultural Center in New York that weekend as well.
Individual papers and panels must be submitted through the normal ASN channels. While the deadline is very quickly approaching, we may be able get an extension. You (and we) might also consider inviting scholars of Hungary and other related countries to join us for some of these panels.
