Music Camp International is conducting its first International Choir Tour to the United States from October 19-November 11, 2007. Eighteen children from Ukraine, and fifteen children from Romania, will join four students from California. The tour begins in Orange Park, Florida, and ends in San Diego, California.
Music Camp International is a music day camp program that brings the gift of music to the children of Ukraine and Romania. MCI believes that every child is created with the ability to learn and enjoy music. It is a process of discovering the „music within”, developing it within a team, and then sharing that success with a community of family, friends and guests. At the end of the week-long camp, a concert is presented on a major concert stage with the accompaniment of local symphony orchestras and professional musicians. In July 2007 the MCI Choir performed for the summer festivities in Sibiu, Romania, the Cultural Capital of Europe.
